Telling My Family I’m Pregnant!

I thought I was being so clever and cute. The kids were pretty solely focused on how a plastic baby got into the muffin and you can see everyone’s confused look, including baby daddy 😂. I thought it was obvious! When I finally tell them what the message is, their excited squeals continue to make my heart melt. I’m so excited to expand our little duo to a trio. ❤️❤️❤️
Backstory:
I knew I was pregnant at 2-3 weeks and I decided to tell my little family unit while on a mini roadtrip to San Diego at 4+ weeks. I didn’t want to wait again because of my previous pregnancy loss, in case this one didn’t last either. I wanted to enjoy every moment and celebrate it with my family. Last December when I lost our baby, I had kept the pregnancy private for 6 weeks for a number of reasons and I wrapped the test to put with our stockings to open on Christmas morning, but our baby left us on December 21. I had to tell my husband & kids that I was pregnant and miscarrying on the same day. I didn’t want to hold that weight alone again and I wanted to enjoy all the time we had with this little soul.
PS. I never show my kids on the gram, but I wanted to share this precious joy and time.
