Prenatal & Postnatal Belly Massage

Prenatal & Postnatal Belly Massage with Earth Mama Organics Belly Oil!

I’ve been practicing this self massage for 8 years! I can’t believe it’s been that long! In 2016, I knew I wanted to get pregnant soon-ish, I had a 10 month “prep for conception” plan. (If you don’t know me by now, planning is 1 of my love languages). I knew I needed to clear my womb to make it a home for an incoming babe, all the trauma, sadness, shame and other people’s energy that still existed inside my reproductive center needed to be released. I was ready for a physical clearing. I found an incredible woman, Marcia, of Women’s True Healing and she lovingly worked with me and taught me this Self Massage. I typically do this after my moon, while I’m pregnant (very gently) and during postpartum. My radical birthkeeper, Maíra, of Birthing Hearts also did a similar massage on me during our postpartum visits.

I paired this daily massage with @earthmamaorganics Belly Oil because I trust their products and I’m very particular about what I put on my body. Their products have no parabens, artificial preservatives or that random ingredient that no one can identify “fragrance”. In fact, it smells super soft as they use orange blossom essential oil which has traditionally been used to help encourage the skin’s natural elasticity. Woo woo, cuz I grow these babies BIG! They list all of their ingredients plainly on each product so you know exactly what’s going on your skin, it’s our biggest organ yall!

I really loved this centering practice especially while babe was still in my belly, it felt like a little one on one massage time for us both and it truly felt like he was waiting for it every night.

PS. I filmed this 2 weeks postpartum in my depends.

In Joy!
